They also required each catering establishment to regularly maintain and clean the oil fume purification facilities, maintain maintenance records, and ensure the normal operation of the facilities. At the same time, the joint inspection team conducted pre-licensing inspections of newly opened catering establishments in the area to check whether they have installed oil fume purifiers and oil-water separators, whether the zoning is reasonable, and whether they meet the requirements for applying for catering licenses, providing guidance before licensing and ensuring the first pass in oil fume control.

For problems found during the inspection, law enforcement officers established a problem list and issued "Notices of Time-Limited Rectification," requiring catering stores to rectify strictly in accordance with regulations to ensure that oil fume emissions meet the standards.
