Nine steps and procedures for cleaning a range hood filter

Many restaurants, hotels, and food processing plants now have oil fume purifiers oil fume purifiers installed. During prolonged use, cleaning is necessary. Today, the oil fume purifier manufacturer Shiji Bai Li will share with you the nine steps and procedures for cleaning oil fume purifiers:
1. Prepare the necessary tools for cleaning the oil fume purifier

Tools include: water container, water gun/soft water hose, caustic soda, rubber gloves, mask;

The container must be larger than the electric field; generally speaking, the length and width of the outer shell of a single standard oil fume purifier do not exceed 1 meter, so a plastic box with a length of 60 cm, a width of 40-50 cm, and a height of 40-50 cm will do. Of course, a larger one is also fine.

Once the tools are ready, you can start working.

2. Power off

This is very important. Although Guangjie Environmental Protection's electrostatic oil fume purifier has a power-off function when the door is opened, for safety reasons and to prevent other accidents, here the oil fume purifier manufacturer Shiji Bai Li strongly recommends disconnecting the power supply of the equipment.

3. Remove the electric field

Guangjie Environmental Protection's oil fume purifier electric field uses a drawer-type design for easy installation and removal. After opening the box door, the large metal partition in the middle is the electrostatic electric field.

First, wear rubber gloves, then hold the insulated part of the screwdriver, and use the metal part of the screwdriver to touch the electric field to dissipate any residual charge.

The electric field used for a period of time will definitely be covered with dirt like dust. We mainly clean this electric field.

Of course, the oil on the oil collection tray should also be poured out and cleaned.

4. Prepare the cleaning solution

Pour 40℃-50℃ warm water into the water container. The amount of water should be enough to submerge the electric field. Then add caustic soda (sodium hydroxide) at a ratio of 1:20. Because caustic soda is easily soluble in water and is highly corrosive, be careful to add it slowly, stir slowly, and the cleaning process will also produce a pungent odor, so you must wear rubber gloves and a mask.

5. Soak the electric field

Slowly place the electric field into the solution. Lift the electric field every 2 minutes and repeat 10-15 times to remove most of the dirt.

6. Rinse with a water gun

After soaking, place the electric field on the ground and rinse it with a water gun to thoroughly wash away any dirt that could not be removed during soaking.

7. Dry the electric field

It is best to find a rack to raise the electric field and let it dry completely. If there is still water on the electric field, installing it back will easily cause a short circuit or damage to the electric field once it is charged, so it must be ensured that the electric field is dry.

8. Check the parts

After drying, check if any parts are loose or detached. Guangjie Environmental Protection uses magnetic nuts, so it ensures that it can be installed firmly at every stage. However, if other brands of oil fume purifiers are used, as a cleaning personnel, it is best to carefully check.

9. Install back into the box

After cleaning, it will naturally be installed back. After ensuring that the installation is correct, close the box door, connect the power supply, and it can be used again. Of course, if you are not in a hurry to use it, the editor still recommends letting it sit for an hour or two before use to prevent any remaining water in the electric field.

The above are the nine steps and procedures for cleaning oil fume purifiers. Hope it helps.
