1. Warning (Very Important)

3. Cleaning tools for restaurant oil fume purifier
(1) One high-pressure water gun
(2) One container for holding plates (made of stainless steel or plastic), the volume of which is not less than: 800mm long * 800mm wide * 800mm high. The container must be acid and alkali resistant, larger than the volume of the electrode plate.
4. Remove the electrode plate
(1) Use the key provided with the machine to open the main door, which will lead to the control box of the equipment.
(2) Turn off and confirm that the power of the machine is off.
(3) Please use a screwdriver with an insulated end for discharging.
(4) If this is your first time cleaning the equipment, please use a screwdriver to unscrew the fixing screws of the electrode plate.
(5) Carefully pull out the filter screen and electrode plate. Be careful not to use excessive force to avoid damaging the electrode plate and its components.
5. Cleaning the electrode plate
(1) Please pour clean water into the prepared cleaning container until it is seven-tenths full.
(2) Slowly add industrial flake alkali to the water at a ratio of 3-5% of the water to prepare the electrode plate cleaning solution. Add water first, then alkali flakes; the order cannot be reversed to avoid the alkali flakes generating high heat due to chemical reactions, causing danger. The chemical added is alkali flakes.
(3) After the industrial flake alkali is completely dissolved, immerse the electrode plate in the cleaning solution. Pay attention to the time to avoid corrosion of the electrode plate. The immersion time for electrode plates with various oil stains is as follows:
a. Salad oil: 15m b. Vegetable oil: 2-5m c. Animal oil: 5-10m d. Mixed oil: 5-15m.
For the first cleaning, it is recommended that the soaking time does not exceed 10 minutes. If the electrode plate is too dirty, the soaking time can be extended appropriately.
(4) Remove the soaked electrode plate from the water.
(5) Clean the electrode plate with a high-pressure water gun. Clean the electrode plate with a high-pressure water gun from top to bottom, from inside to outside, and from front to back. If cleaning is not complete, extend the soaking time. When extending the soaking time, lift and spray water on the electrode plate every 5 minutes to prevent deformation and bending. Do not damage or destroy the electrode plate during cleaning. The following areas need to be thoroughly cleaned when using a high-pressure water gun to clean the electrode plate:
a. Inner and outer surfaces of ceramic parts.
b. Gaps and bottom of each electrode plate.
(6) Air dry the cleaned electrode plate naturally. Or use a tool with a temperature not exceeding 100 degrees to dry it.
6. Inspect the electrostatic dust collector plate
(1) Check if the distance between the electrode plates is even.
(2) Check if the ceramic is damaged, cracked, or not cleaned.
(3) Check if the screws inside the electrode plate are loose.
(4) Check if the electrode plate is damaged, deformed, or displaced. If deformed, it needs to be corrected.
7. Cleaning the UV ultraviolet lamp
Do not use a faucet to directly clean the lamp tube. Mainly clean the lamp tube. When cleaning, first wipe the lamp tube wall with a towel dipped in warm soapy water, then wipe the lamp tube dry with a clean towel.
8. Install the electrode plate in the reverse order of removal, connect the wires, lock the box door, and turn on the power to resume normal operation.
