Experience: Steps for water washing an oil fume purifier and steps for readjusting the power supply

Oil fume purifier water washing steps and power supply readjustment steps:

  1. Open the equipment electrical box door, turn off the power switch, and then open the equipment electric field compartment door. There are multiple purification electric fields (purification drawers) inside the equipment, and the distance between the plates in each electric field is different. They are arranged in order from large spacing to small spacing. When cleaning for the first time, use ink or paint to number the outer frame of the electric field 1, 2, 3..., to facilitate reinstallation and readjustment of power usage after cleaning.
  2. Gently pull out one section of the electric field (purification drawer), use a screwdriver to short-circuit the positive and negative poles of the electric field to discharge, and then remove the high-voltage wire from the electric field before completely pulling out the electric field (Note: This step only applies to A/B/C type purifiers, H type purifiers can be directly pulled out completely without discharging).
  3. Prepare a cleaning tank (container) that can hold the purifier electric field, and prepare some caustic soda or flake alkali (sodium hydroxide), which are available at chemical stores.
  4. Pour the cleaning solution into the cleaning tank (container) (mix warm water 50~60 degrees and caustic soda, the ratio is (water: caustic soda 20~40:1).
  5. Immerse the electric field (purification drawer) in the cleaning tank for 5~10 minutes. The immersion time is according to (water: caustic soda 20:1≈5 minutes, 40:1≈10 minutes).
  6. Remove the electric field from the cleaning tank, rinse it with a high-pressure water gun to thoroughly remove the oil stains on the plates, and then rinse it with hot water.
  7. Place the cleaned electric field in a ventilated place or in the sun to dry, and use a hair dryer to dry if necessary.
  8. Visually inspect the electric field cleaned of oil stains for any abnormalities. If there are any abnormalities, adjust or restore them, and then place each electric field back into the purifier as it was originally, and close the equipment electric field compartment door.
  9. Turn the power adjustment knob below the power box counterclockwise to the minimum, then close the power switch, and then slowly turn the power adjustment knob below the power box clockwise to the middle position. The electric field inside the equipment should have a "hissing, buzzing" or intermittent "clicking" sound, which is normal. The adjustment is complete at this time.
  10. If you hear a continuous "clicking" sound from the electric field inside the equipment, it is abnormal. You can adjust the power adjustment knob below the power box counterclockwise slightly to eliminate the continuous "clicking" sound. If the problem cannot be solved, turn off the equipment power and re-check the electric field plates, clear the fault, and then repeat the adjustment until it is normal.
  11. After completing the above steps, visually check the purification effect at the pipe discharge port. The purification effect should be greatly improved at this time. If you are not satisfied with the purification effect, you can adjust the power adjustment knob below the power box corresponding to the first and second electric fields clockwise to the 2/3 position to change the purification efficiency again.
  12. If the power supply cannot work normally after water washing (cannot work normally after repeated adjustments), replacing the insulators on the electric field can solve the problem of the power supply not working normally. The replaced insulators can be reused after the next water washing of the electric field.
