Principle
- The oil fume purifier is a four-to-six-stage electrostatic adsorption type, used to remove fine particulate hydrocarbons and other airborne particulates.
- Its four-to-six-stage refers to the ionization and collection stages. Each ionization stage consists of a series of serrated plates installed between a series of plates and supplied with high-voltage DC electricity.
- When atmospheric particles pass through the strong electrostatic field of the ionizer, they are ionized and carry positive or negative charges.
- Each collection stage consists of a large number of parallel plates, supplied with high-voltage DC electricity (polarity consistent with the ionizer, but voltage halved) to form an electric field. Charged particles are attracted by the grounding plate while also being repelled by the charged plate. Therefore, when the airflow contains charged particles, they can be efficiently removed.
- The collection component ensures smooth airflow distribution while ensuring low-speed passage through the collection stage. Airflow is provided by the same unit located after the collection component, causing the air to flow at a specific speed.
